My name is Woei Yu (that’s pronounced way you) and I have been a full-time Internet Marketer for a few years.
I usually work behind the scenes generating traffic, creating products, researching… you name it and there is a good chance I done it or at least know something about it.
I was at an Internet Marketing convention in early March 2010 and was glad to see a lot of women participating in this VERY male-dominated club of online business owners.
However, I was also dismayed (yet again) by the number of women who were challenged by simple, basic details of running an online business.
Frankly, I wanted to … no … I needed to show women entrepreneurs that it is really not as difficult or challenging as it may seem.
So here I am and here is what I’m doing….
To start with, I am hosting a weekly Webinar series where I go through challenges and issues women generally encounter in an online business.
Most of these are basic like creating an opt-in page or setting up a WordPress blog or researching your competitors and stuff like that.
Eventually I expect to go into some advanced topics but I’ll base the Webinars on popular demand and the needs of women in the eBusiness for women community.
With each Webinar I also provide additional free gifts and tools that are relevant to the topic to help my girlfriends new and old. Things like some opt-in page templates for the “How to Create an Opt-in Page” Webinar and lots of other cool stuff.
There will be a blog created at eBusinessForWomen.com; in fact, it will probably be done by the time you read this and we already have a community of women who are helping each other.
That help might be moral support, answering questions, mentoring and even doing a partnership together.
My role will be to help demystify the various aspects of Internet Marketing and help foster relationships among us all.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in and think you will benefit from, please make sure you read my emails with announcements and sharing what I know about running an online business.
Also, join and contribute to our community of like-minded women who want us all to succeed together.
Thank you very much and we’ll talk soon,
